Professional Background

Floral and special event planner Georgia Le Bon Lund was born and raised in San Diego California. Her coordination experience began at a young age while in her junior year of high school and continued through her senior year as ASB commissioner of activities and as Senior Class President along with the dual title of ASB Senior Class Commissioner of Activities. Her responsibilities included hiring disc jockey entertainment and coordination of all school assemblies and events.

After high school and during college, Georgia began a career in the food and beverage industry working for local restaurants and quickly moved into management. In 1987 Georgia accepted a position working for the largest San Diego Harbor Excursion Passenger Boat company. Georgia has worked in many different aspects of the special event industry including Sales Executive, Assistant Food and Beverage and Assistant Operations Manager, Manager of Event Coordination team,
and Cruise Director.

The experience provided Georgia with extensive hands on management and coordination of both public and private yacht charters, weddings, public dinner cruises, private corporate events and special entertainment events. Georgia was responsible for hiring all vendors including musical talent, linens, florals, and event coordination along with creating creative menu options and directing cruise hospitality staff.

In 1991, while still employed with the Harbor Cruise Company,
Georgia started her own floral business, Geordee's Florals. It was Georgia's love for flowers and her entrepreneurial spirit that prompted her to proceed with her life's calling of providing tasteful and beautiful floral creations along with sharing her years of experience in many different aspects of event coordination. In 1994 she made the decision to pursue her dream and left the cruise company, but still maintains a wonderful relationship and to this day is called upon to provide much of their florals and decor needs.

Georgia's philosophy is to follow her clients vision. She is most particular with regards to the freshness of the product. She strives to provide stellar service and employs impeccable work ethics.

Georgia enjoys sharing her ideas and loves to offer guidance whenever requested with clients and staff. Her policiy is to always listen to her clients and to share, guide and help to provide a product that her clients can enjoy and be delighted by.

Georgia is very hands on in her floral and decor services and hires only the most creative and professional staff. Georgia personally meets with her clients for personal consultations. She hand selects the flowers she uses, implementing her design and color talents to select the most appropriate linens and decor while paying careful attention to fine detail and the finishing touches.
